The challeng for me with completing things is selecting the right ones. There are many projects that probably should remain incomlplete because the add little value. How do you keep yourself from majoring in the minors for the sake of completeness?

I don’t expect everyone is able to tune in here everyday and read each post. In fact, I’m amazed I actually getting a post up 5 days a week as I have been -:).

That being said, I believe a good beginning to responding to this was covered a couple days ago. Here’s a link to that post: http://strategyfocusinstitute.com/complete-what-you-have-left-undone-and-live-with-integrity. The gist: make a list of your incompletions and then prioritize the list. How to do that, one might ask?

That will take some thought. If you can select the top priority, you’re off to the races. Just focus on that one for 7 days as suggested in the post. After 7 days, you can decide if your complete on it, of work for another 7 days. The two principle here are: 1) prioritizing and, 2) give yourself a deadine.
