A System for Success In Life

by Henri on August 23, 2011

A system for success in lifeMany folks appreciate the intent of this blog, but they are always asking for a system to follow. “Just give me a system to follow,” they state. Got it.  So here is a system for doing that (but you’re going to need lots more to actually begin doing it – this is just the outline).  First – get your intent and your actions aligned – what we call mind/body unity. Thoughts and actions aligned.  Words and deed aligned.

Here’s the system: Create personal integrity –> Develop integrity in your relationships –> Manifest integrity in your life by controlling your personal and work environment.  Let’s flesh that out a bit more.

Personal integrity must be the starting point for anyone wishing to improve living the ideal of integrity.  If not, it’s just plain harder to create integrity in relationships and with your environment. Actually, the key to all happiness and success in life, and to effective personal growth and self help, lies here.

Personal integrity is the unity of your mind with your body. This means doing what you intend or sayUniting your thoughts with your actions. Uniting your words and deeds. Easy to talk about – harder to accomplish. In the coming days and weeks, I will be revealing the exact steps you need to execute in order to accomplish mind/body unity. But you’ll still have to DO something, so get ready -:).

The next step is to create integrity in your personal relationships. Here is where the results of doing what you say/intend (or not, as the case may be) will show its results. Life is actually a series of relationships – from our family to school, to our work life, our community, service, and so on. Wouldn’t you agree?  I will be sharing specific skills you need in order to translate your intention into good relationships – and as a result have integrity in them.

The final step is integrity with your environment. By this I mean not just the natural environment, but your living environment – time and money. Integrity in your relationship with time (we all get the same 24 hours per day) and your money – how you create it, manage it and invest it profoundly affects the quality of your life.

This is just your introduction to the system. But that’s what we have – an actual system that you can use to create a life where you live with integrity every day. Sound good? Then don’t miss even one of these posts, coming at you every day or two.

Really appreciate linking personal integrity with personal relationships and then integrity with the environment.
I promote virtuous living, embodying virtues. Integrity has been on my list since the headmaster spoke about it in a morning service at my school in England back when I was 12. I have been reflecting on it ever since.
